The iconic coastal resort of St Ives and popular visitor hotspots at the cathedral city of Truro, the maritime town of Falmouth and the picturesque village of St Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. The local village pub and the open air amphitheatre at Gwennap Pit, which holds concerts in summer, are within easy walking distance. The local area is steeped in mining history and all around is good walking and cycling country. Scenic rambles and energetic bike rides can begin from the front door step and along the National Cycle Route 3 which passes nearby. Whilst neighboured by the owners' property and another self-catering unit, Mynheer Farm Barn offers guests a good level of privacy. Doors lead from the sitting/dining room onto a sheltered and private granite flag-stoned terrace with access to a barbecue area and the adjoining field. There are board games, books and a cosy wood burner for stormy nights in. On the first floor are two attractive en-suite bedrooms. The double room has large picture windows which afford captivating views across the fields and, for flexibility, the second bedroom can be presented as a double with a king size bed or a twin (with 2'6 beds).
