The lifeguarded beach at Polzeath just 4 miles distant is one of the best surfing beaches in the UK with wet suit and surf board hire available whilst Daymer Bay just around the corner is also ideal for swimmers. Novice and experienced cyclists will enjoy a trip along The Camel Trail, a 17 mile cycle track which runs from Padstow along the Camel River. For a fun day out, jump on the passenger ferry from Rock across the Camel estuary to Padstow for a bite to eat in one of Rick Steins eponymous restaurants or a bit of retail therapy. With charm and character outside and in, Trevelver has a cosy sitting room with an open fire which belies the large open plan kitchen/diner beyond.
