A great surfing spot, Porthtowan is well known for its powerful 'hollow' waves which bring surfers from far afield. The apartment is situated immediately behind The Blue Bar which is popular for its delicious food and relaxed ambience with live music every weekend. There is also a further public house, fish and chip take away, a small supermarket, a delicatessen, plus ice cream and surf shops, all of which are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The north coast has a wealth of great sandy beaches and coves which are all linked by the South West Coast Path which passes through Porthtowan. With three miles of golden sands at Hayle to the west and the expansive beach at Perranporth in the east, you will be spoilt for choice. Just along the coast to the north is the picturesque village of St Agnes; here there are a number of cafes and restaurants as well as various galleries and the Trevaunance Cove craft workshops in which to browse. Accessed at ground floor level at the front, the apartment has a cosy open plan living space with small kitchen area and doors to a balcony overlooking the beach at the rear. There is also a twin bedroom and a bathroom on this level. A steep open staircase (children must be supervised) leads to a light mezzanine bedroom above the living room. Crisp white linens, fluffy white towels and generous welcome goodies complete the picture. There is an allocated parking space in a nearby private car park.
