Just over a mile away is the National Trust owned Kynance Cove which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with white sand, turquoise waters and caves which can be explored at low tide. The South West Coast Path, can be accessed by foot from the house taking walkers to the delightful Cadgwith Cove, set of the recent BBC series, The Fisherman's Apprentice. Just over a mile away this traditional fishing village is home to the Cadgwith Cove Inn serving home cooked meals and fresh seafood daily. Less than a mile south and also accessible by footpath lies Lizard Village which has good amenities including a pub, café and grocery store together with a number of galleries and craft shops. With homely accommodation for six guests, there is a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and a kitchen with a farmhouse table on the ground floor, whilst upstairs the three pretty bedrooms all benefit from direct sea views. Wireless broadband, an iPod dock and a selection of games and books ensure entertainment whatever the weather. Attached to the rear of the owner's farmhouse on a working dairy farm, guests at So Far South will experience the sounds and smells of the countryside and pets and children should be supervised when venturing beyond the pretty enclosed garden. There is parking for one car whilst further parking is available adjacent to the owner's farmhouse.
