The enchanting views across the shoreline to the castle topped island of St Michaels Mount will be remembered long after your stay at By-Sea. This traditional double fronted cottage is situated in the heart of the popular coastal town of Marazion and is superbly located being just a few minutes walk from the long stretch of sandy beach. Jostling for a sea vista vantage point, it is positioned beside the road amidst a row of pretty terrace cottages. Sea views across Mount's Bay towards the harbour at Penzance can be admired from the master and twin bedrooms and there is the added benefit of a sun-trapped and sheltered, steep terrace garden (children to be supervised), equipped for relaxation and alfresco dining, at the rear. The accommodation is well appointed throughout and caters well for families with plenty of extras including Sky Sports, ipod docking station, wireless broadband, parking for four cars, two TV's, shower room, bathroom and a wide selection of books, games, DVD's and CD's. Time can be spent browsing the art galleries and gift shops and stopping for some refreshment at the old inns, cafes or restaurants located within moments. The 3 mile level walk to the historic market town of Penzance along the coastal footpath will reveal stunning scenery and the spectacle of windsurfers, dinghies and kite-surfers skimming over the waves. Marazion is an excellent base for exploring the far west with the white sandy beaches at Porthcurno, Sennen and Praa Sands; the picturesque seaside towns and villages at St Ives and Mousehole and the landmark attractions at Land's End and The Minack Theatre all within a 30 minute radius by car. The homely ambience of this cottage combined with a wood burner lends itself perfectly to winter breaks as well as a traditional and effortless summer holiday by the sea.
