The accommodation was in a lovely tranquil setting, overlooking the river Inny. The inside of the accommodation was very compact with all the facilities you would need for a short break. Loved it.

A top pick for a romantic break, honeymoon or anniversary, Water's Edge offers convenient access to the North Cornish coastline and beaches with well appointed accommodation located on the banks of a gentle stretch of the River Inny. It is situated less than a 30 minute drive from Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle and the surfing beaches at Polzeath, Bude and Trebarwith Strand, amidst scenic countryside on a newly built and select development of privately owned holiday homes near Camelford. The area offers a varied landscape for walkers from remote moorland hikes at nearby Bodmin Moor to scenic cliff top rambles with spectacular views. It is a convenient base to explore and also to unwind. A detached single-storey residence benefiting from a scenic and private outlook, it provides all the ingredients for a peaceful and truly relaxing break. From the sun-trap patio at the rear, which is well screened from view, guests will observe a habitat rich in bird and wildlife including the resident ducks passing on the river. Arranged on one level, the interior is ample for two with an open plan living room, a well equipped kitchen, an attractive double bedroom dressed in romantic bed linens and an immaculate bathroom. Use of the onsite tennis courts is free and St Enodoc Golf Club, one of the finest links golf courses in the south west, is within a short drive along with a pub/restaurant and supermarket. Water's Edge offers excellent value for money and comfort for winter breaks with a rustic wood burner-style electric fire, central heating and double glazing.

1 bedroom - Sleeping up to 2 Adults One step up to entrance. Ground Floor: Open Plan Living Room with 21" TV and Kitchen. Bedroom 1 Double. Bathroom with Bath, shower over and WC. Other Amenities: iPod dock, fridge/freezer and barbecue. Bed linen, towels and electric heating included. One pet welcome at £15 per week. The property offers accommodation over one floor and has a mixture of carpeting, tiles and laminate flooring throughout. The external and internal doors are of a standard width and height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The enclosed garden has a mixture of paved surfaces, grass and flower beds. There is off- road parking for 1 car close to the property entrance.
