Property Description
This delightful detached Cornish cottage is situated approximately 1/4 mile down a private lane, deep in a secluded valley on the Roseland Peninsula. It is about 12 miles from the city of Truro and 1 mile out of the pretty village of Veryan, which has a Post Office/store and pub which serves good homemade food. With only two other cottages close by and surrounded by acres of National Trust woodland, this is an extremely peaceful spot. Here one can go to sleep with the owls and wake up with the pheasants! The sandy National Trust beach of Pendower, (dog friendly), can be reached in 10 minutes by a streamside traffic free walk, whilst Carne beach with its rocky pools takes just a little longer. This is an ideal location for coastal and woodland walks and for the nature lover wildlife abounds. This cosy cottage has a compact open plan living area with kitchen at one end and stone fireplace for open fires at the other. At the front is a very sheltered and sunny patio.
