Set back from the village street the attractive double aspect bedroom, approached by an equally attractive pine staircase, looks straight out across a valley over many acres of farmland. The owners, who live in the thatched cottage, are very friendly and permit the use of their beautiful landscaped gardens which has some fabulous ponds, shrubs and plants, and guests have the use of a private summer house reached by a pretty garden archway. This is a very peaceful village with nearby Halzephron pub (serving excellent food). Close by is the renowned Mullion Golf Course with amazing sea views to admire while you play. There are plenty of choices for coastal walks to the east or west or inland around the unique fresh water lake of Loe Bar; an important spot for birdlife. Within two miles is the sandy Church Cove which is part of this dramatic coastline managed by the National Trust. Good for bathing and surfing it also boasts the unusual sight of a small medieval Church tucked into the cliff and sand dunes, and still used for weddings and services today. The market town of Helston is only five miles away with plenty of shopping opportunities, pubs, restaurants and entertainment. Glen cottage is a most charming holiday cottage in one of the most enjoyable locations in Cornwall. There is ample parking in the driveway.
