In the picturesque waterside village of Mylor Bridge, Chenies is a stroll from the marina at Mylor Creek, four miles from the maritime port of Falmouth and 15 minutes drive from the city of Truro, with its magnificent three-spired cathedral and characterful cobbled streets. This comfortable bungalow has a real 'home from home' ambiance, with a spacious sitting room and separate dining room perfect for social gatherings over a lazy breakfast. The private enclosed garden is attractive and mature, with lawn and patio boasting a tranquil retreat in the sunshine, with table and chairs for alfresco dining or a place to sit with a morning coffee or chilled drink. The local friendly pub is just a stroll away. A short drive will take you to Mylor Harbour, known as one of the finest in the South West, where you can hire a boat, kayak or windsurfer and make adventures discovering the hidden creeks and inlets of the River Fal. Nearby at Devoran, you can hire a bike and join the 11 mile Mineral Tramways Trail forming part of a popular coast-to-coast cycle route from east to west Cornwall. Falmouth is a vivacious mix of superb sandy beaches, scenic harbour and historic culture, with the maritime Museum and Henry VIII's Pendennis Castle. Browse the quaint streets peppered with galleries, gift shops, fine restaurants and traditional inns. Hop aboard the King Harry Ferry at Feock and cross the waters to the breathtaking landscape of The Roseland Peninsula. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within 40 minutes drive and the stunning beaches of north Cornwall are easily reached by car in less than 30 minutes.
