A charming detached cottage situated just 100 yards from the beach in a secluded position within this peaceful and unspoilt fishing village. Porthallow is a favourite holiday destination for those who wish to experience the relaxed atmosphere of a non-commercialised Cornish fishing village. The shingle beach is still home to a few working fishing boats and at low tide the rock pools provide a natural playground for children. There is a popular pub in the village which serves good local fayre.. The Lizard Peninsula has plenty to keep the whole family entertained with Roskilly's Ice Cream Parlour and Organic Farm, the National Seal Sanctuary and Flambards Theme Park all within a thirty minute drive. The South West Coast Path runs through the village with dramatic coastal walks in either direction offering spectacular views over Falmouth Bay. Submerged wrecks along this stretch of coastline appeal to divers and there are several diving schools within the area. St Keverne, just 3 miles away has a good range of village shops and two friendly pubs.
