This splendid building, once a magnificent hotel, is situated on the headland known as Chynhalls Point high above the picturesque fishing village of Coverack. Built in the Edwardian era now very cleverly transformed into luxury apartments and cottages, all have double glazing and full electric heating. Coverack Headland provides its own haven of peace and tranquillity in idyllic surroundings, protected by the National Trust and also designated a site of 'Special Scientific Interest'. Most of the apartments look directly out to sea over the heatherclad headland and the whole building is circled by its own well attended lawns and cliff top fauna. Coverack Headland has its own beach, reached by footpath. It is a secluded sandy cove, which is ideal for swimming or beach games. The grounds, with the exception of the main lawns, are a wonderful area for children to play in or explore with complete freedom and there is also a tennis court for guests use. The village is less than 1/2 mile away where there is a pub, restaurant and shops. Also in the village it is possible to take wind-surfing lessons in the bay or arrange deep sea fishing trips, whilst not far away is the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station which is well worth a visit. For golfers the links-type course at Mullion can provide quite a challenge. Off the entrance foyer is a payphone and a laundry room with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Each apartment has its own allotted space for parking either one or two carsThis apartment occupies a prime second floor position with a private balcony. The views from all rooms are unrivalled, extending out over the majestic headlands, which shelter clear blue seas. The light and airy open plan accommodation has coordinating decor and quality furnishings throughout including a well equipped kitchen. This apartment has unrivalled sea views from all rooms (even the bathroom !) extending out across Chynalls point to the horizon and on down to Coverack village. There are extensive lawned gardens and a tennis court for guests use. The light and airy accommodation has a high standard of coordinating decor, quality furnishings throughout and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment has double glazing and electric heating. There is one bedroom, a bathroom (with bath and shower) and open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Facing out to sea is the private balcony (complete with table and chairs) - a wonderful vantage point to have breakfast, dinner or to simply relax and enjoy the view. The apartment has WiFi Broadband and it's own designated parking. Coverack is an unspoilt fishing village just 0.5 mile away from the apartment with a local pub, a restaurant, cafe and gift/general goods shop. A historic village with an active fishing harbour and a real sense of community indeed you may purchase delightful Cornish pasties and cakes from Elizabeth, a local resident, for that special homemade treat. The apartment is ideally located as a base from which to explore many of Cornwall's main tourist attractions (The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Newquay and St' Ives), dramatic scenery, cultural heritage and stunning gardens. In addition the South West Coast Path (just over the garden fence) leads to Lands end in the South and Helford to the North. Also, Terence Coventry's sculpture park is exceptional and is located in the adjacent field to the apartment - you can even see some of the exhibits from the balcony.
