Also in the village it is possible to take wind-surfing lessons in the bay or arrange deep sea fishing trips, whilst not far away is the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station which is well worth a visit. For golfers the links-type course at Mullion can provide quite a challenge. Off the entrance foyer is a payphone and a laundry room with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. The apartment is ideally located as a base from which to explore many of Cornwall's main tourist attractions (The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Newquay and St' Ives), dramatic scenery, cultural heritage and stunning gardens. In addition the South West Coast Path (just over the garden fence) leads to Lands end in the South and Helford to the North. Also, Terence Coventry's sculpture park is exceptional and is located in the adjacent field to the apartment - you can even see some of the exhibits from the balcony.
