Sennen, a popular seaside village, is active all year round offering super cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries!The little cottage, once part of a working farm, is set in a perfect location for keen walkers and beachgoers where there is easy access to explore the costal paths down to the white sand beach at Sennen as well as the aptly named Whitesand Bay. Gwenver beach, also nearby, is great for surfing and permits dog walking. For the more adventurous there are super cliff walks to Cape Cornwall or even Lands End. Days out can be plenty: a short drive away is colourful market town of Penzance and the famous island of St Micheal's Mount, or to the north, the quaint artist's paradise of St. Ives. The unique and spectacular Minack Theatre, carved into the cliff, is only four miles distance with open air amateur and professional performances through the summer months. Wellfield Cottage is loved by children with its large grass areas ideal for playing, picnicking and flying kites. Furnished with care and with recently renewed bathroom and sunny aspect it exudes a very warm welcome. The dining area is particularly pleasant for gazing at the views across the countryside to the sea. The feeling is one of being part of a small Cornish community when visiting this charming hamlet, with the advantageous of the privacy, peace and quiet provided by Wellfield Cottage. Access is good and there is ample parking.
