A tranquil and invigorating walk through woods beyond Loe Pool will bring you to the ancient market town of Helston, two miles away, the gateway to the magical Lizard Peninsula. Explore the hidden jewels of coves and caves at low tide; you may spot dolphins at Coverack or embrace the Mediterranean ambiance at Kynance Cove for that blissed-out experience. Sunny Penzance and neighbouring Newlyn, with its bustling harbour of fishing boats and hire boats is within easy driving distance, and the sublime beaches at Porthcurno, Praa Sands and Marazion, all nestling in Mounts Bay, are must see destinations. St Michael's Mount majestically projects from the sea, with its tiny quay and castle pointing skywards.
