Nearby Polhu Cove offers a small west-facing sheltered beach or discover Polurrian, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, approached through a valley along an attractive cliff path. Porthleven, with its eclectic mix of galleries and restaurants for foodies and quaint harbour with small beach is within a nine mile drive.
