Alternatively, watch the action and relax in one of the friendly cafes close by. Famous for its maritime heritage, Falmouth has an abundance of gift shops and galleries set amidst charming narrow streets, peppered with restaurants and traditional inns serving Cornish ales and good food. Drive 14 miles to The Lizard Peninsula, with spectacular coastal scenery, stunningly beautiful through all seasons. Discover the old smuggler haunts of Cadgwith or Mullion. Kynance Cove is a hidden jewel, with caves ripe for exploration at low water, or experience the drama from a cliff top footpath when tide is high and storm-lashed.
