St Michael's Mount, famed as the jewel in Cornwall's crown can be accessed by foot across the cobbled causeway which is revealed at low tide. At high tide a ferry will transport you to the tiny harbour on the Mount, where you can eat at the café or restaurant. Drive a short distance from the beach and you can discover the bustling hub of Penzance and from there visit Land's End with its dramatic coastline and varied all-weather attractions. Picturesque St Ives with bijou shops, galleries and sheltered harbour side beach or the quaint quayside village of Mousehole are must-see destinations.
