Ruggedly picturesque, the unspoilt coastal village of Porthallow once prospered from pilchard fishing and the 'Five Pilchard Inn' nestling beside the shingled cove is a link to the past. A peaceful backwater, fishing, kayaking, diving and walking the coastal footpath are favourite pastimes or time can be idled away enjoying panoramic views across the wide sweep of Falmouth Bay.
