The 17th century 'Old Success Inn', small shops, art gallery, superb beachside restaurant and cafes are conveniently close by. Superb walks around the wave battered coastline to Land's End will take you past the site of the ancient 300 BC Maen Castle and from dramatic headlands dolphins and seals are spotted offshore. Once frequented by such inspired artists as Dame Laura Knight, couples will delight at the relaxed style of this charming studio. Take one of the finest and spectacular coastal scenic drives between Morvah and St Ives, with cream-tea havens and pubs to stop at for refreshments. Land's End, with its natural geology offers varied attractions in both sunshine and rugged weather, with exhibitions, galleries, gift shops and restaurants to tempt the palate. Newlyn, with its colourful, bustling harbour merges with the amiable character of Penzance, gained from its south facing aspect on the most sheltered part of Mounts Bay, and is within a short driving distance. Partitioned walls of reclaimed timbers cleverly separate the rooms to create an open, airy aspect, reflecting light from their ivory cream décor. The panoramic seascape and razzle-dazzle sunsets can be enjoyed from the elevated veranda at the front of the property and make for a romantic setting. There is off-road parking for one car.
