The open plan living room has generous double picture windows adding a bright and airy aspect, with a dining area and a well equipped kitchen. A private patio to the front of the cottage is a sunny spot to sit and enjoy the extensive views over a lazy breakfast or evening barbecue. Take a five minute stroll down to the village pub for a Cornish ale or sample the good food. Gwithian Beach is a paradise for surfers and windsurfers, where you can sit and enjoy a picnic on the sand whilst watching the water borne activity. St Ives is sublime, the mecca for artists, with tiny picturesque harbour and world-class beaches, arced by waterside eateries, galleries and bijou gift shops along its quaint winding lanes. The long beach at Marazion is just 12 miles away, with a hive of sailing dinghies and kite-surfers skimming the waters. Here, the jewel of Cornwall's crown, St Michael's Mount projects majestically from the sea. This parttime island with 13 Century fortress atop can be reached at low tide by walking across the cobbled causeway. At high tide the ferry will take you into the tiny harbour, where you can discover the huddle of pretty cottages, restaurant, shop and café. Bustling Penzance is just along the coastline - with a myriad of attractions for all weathers.
