A popular coastal village, Porthleven has a good number of restaurants, pubs and shops grouped around the granite harbour and it is easy to while away the hours watching the activity as colourful craft come and go with the tide. The village plays host to a weekly market and a number of events through the year including the Porthleven Lifeboat day and the Porthleven Food Festival. Equally comfortable for smaller groups and couples as for larger gatherings, the house has an informal, unpretentious atmosphere, appealing to those seeking homely comfort. Southwest facing, all the main rooms enjoy a sunny aspect and three of the bedrooms have wonderful sea views. The cosy sitting room has a multifuel burning stove and beside it the dining room has a table to comfortably seat eight. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms and although the fourth bedroom is small, equipped with bunk beds it is ideal for children. The house is well furnished and equipped for family groups having an extra sitting with TV and DVD player room doubling as a useful playroom with an array of books, DVDs and games. To the rear of the house is an elevated garden with lawned area and the delightful terrace with sea views is a pleasant spot to gather for a family barbecue as the sun sets. Please note care must be taken on the narrow steps leading to the garden and children must be supervised at all times. Parking can be found on the road in front of the house.
