The living room has unfussy windows dressed with natural wood shutters, pale timber flooring and pristine white stone walls, all accentuating the generous space of the ground floor and modern kitchen. In stark contrast the dark stained floorboards and little steps up and down to the bedrooms are reminiscent of a past era when two bathrooms in one cottage were far beyond expectation! An escape for all seasons, sit in the sun on the bench at the front aspect and watch the varied birdlife across the water. During the winter months the wood burning stove (logs and kindling provided) will keep you toasty as you storm-watch from within. December brings the famous 'Christmas Lights', where the bay and cliffs are illuminated to spectacular effect. Catch the half hourly bus service to Newlyn and Penzance, and St Michaels Mount, one of the most eye-catching landmarks connected by a narrow causeway at Marazion with popular bathing beach, is a stunning sight. Porthcurno with its famous Minack open-air theatre and breath-taking sands are must see locations.
