The peaceful village of Ashton lies just a mile from the coastal path and picturesque sandy cove at Rinsey, where beach goers and surfers follow the winding footpath down towards the hidden sands and rock pools, below the old mine stack that pin points this lovely piece of coastline. The bustling fishing village of Porthleven is also just over a mile, with its array of restaurants, cafes, pubs and gift shops and is always a firm favourite at any time of year. Walkers will delight in the stunning views from the coastal path leading to the nearby Loe Bar and beyond, and for those keen to catch their own supper, fishing trips leave from the harbour throughout the summer season. Famous St Michael's Mount at Marazion and the ancient market town at Helston are a ten minute drive in opposite directions, whilst St Ives, Falmouth and Penzance can be reached within a 30 minute drive.
