A secluded waterside property, ideal for sailing enthusiasts, situated at the end of a quiet private road, high above Gillan's beautiful tidal creek, with an excellent view to the picturesque hamlet and beach of St. Anthony, where a variety of boats can be hired. There is a sheltered covered sun porch and terrace from where you can enjoy alfresco meals and views of the creek. Comfortably furnished to a good standard, toys and ample books are provided. Night store heaters and an open fireplace make it cosy for off-season letting and an old Cornish range has been installed as a feature - not for cooking. Steps lead from the house through natural woodland to the creek and access to the sea from a small private quay, where there is a much appreciated wooden garden seat from which to observe the creek wildlife, especially at sunset, 2-3 hours before and after high water. Low tide leaves a shallow, sandy pool, ideal for small children to play in and for prawning (nets provided). It is beautifully quiet with only the sounds of the many species of birds. The coves of Flushing and Gillan are a 10- minute walk or row by dinghy. There are plenty of eating establishments in the area. Parking area provided.
