Absolutely wonderful cottage, location and facilities couldn't be better. Even my dog was delighted with his treats, ball and thoughtful extras! 30 seconds from the beech, warm, peaceful and immaculately clean and furnished. The view of the Mount as you drive into Marazion for the first time is breathtaking as is the view of the bay from the upstairs window. Host is a lovely lady and her gift of Cornish cream tea on arrival is perfect after a long journey. Anyone staying here will have a wonderful time and will hope to return year after year!

Ebenezer Cottage is without doubt the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed at. We have just returned from our 5th stay at this delightful cottage. In my experience cottages that accept dogs are generally lacking but Ebenezer is anything but. It is the cleanest place I have every stayed and Victoria has thought of everything. If you take you dog he is welcomed with a basket, his own towel, a new ball, lots of doggie biscuits and chews, what more could you ask for. But it's not just the cottage, the location is perfect too, with lots of great pubs nearby and great places to visit. Have already sent my request in for next year. Perfection

By Ruth

Refurbished to an excellent standard throughout, Ebenezer Cottage is a highly desirable detached residence within moments of the wide sandy beach and south-west foot path at the coastal town of Marazion. This traditional slate-clad, white washed cottage has been transformed into a contemporary living space equipped with new furnishings and appliances, carefully picked for their style, quality and functionality. The interior has a subtle retro feel with sleek wood furniture and elegant chrome light fittings teamed with plush soft furnishings in varying shades of chocolate and teal. The open plan living room is a sociable space with doors to a private and enclosed patio and on cooler days it is made cosy by the warm glow of a modern flame effect fire. The kitchen is well equipped for the serious cook and stands out for its curved contours and ultra-glossy cream and black finishes and there is the added benefit of a WC /utility room. Upstairs is a comfortable double bedroom and twin bedroom (which can zip and link to 6' bed) and a bathroom with a fashionable shower/bath. Perfect for couples and families seeking a relaxing or active outdoor holiday, Marazion sits in the crescent of Mounts Bay, opposite the famous medieval castle of St Michael's Mount and neighbours the ancient market town of Penzance. Central for touring West Cornwall, the fine beaches at Praa Sands, Porthcurno and St Ives and the picturesque fishing villages at Porthleven and Sennen are all within a 30 minute drive but self-drive is not essential here. Marazion is a happy mix of local life and holiday resort providing a range of local amenities (including tea shops, art galleries, pubs and restaurants) and being served by main line rail station at Penzance and good local transport links. There is parking for one car.

Ruth

The cottage is in an ideal location in a special part of Cornwall - ideal for singles, couples and families with young children. There are many places of interest in the area.

The welcome from the owner makes all of the difference rather than leaving the keys in a key safe. The cottage is pleasantly furnished and most comfortable. Utensils available are comprehensive. All this makes the cottage a veritable home from home. The cream tea and biscuits were very welcome too!

I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to family and friends. I shall certainly be visiting again.

Nigel

Going way at Christmas isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Presents to take, what to wear, relatives not to see etc. Christmas is when many like to be in their own home, warm and cosy with their family but Ebenezer Cottage is brilliant! Everything we wanted was here and more. The home baked goodies were fabulous. (These came from my sisters cafe, Time Cafe, in Probes) Victoria has made this Christmas very special for us and we can only echo everything everyone else has written in this book. Spider will really miss his early morning beach rum, we will miss the beautiful sunrises and we hope to return again before to long. xx

The Wiggins Family

We love Ebenezer Cottage and think this was our 6th visit. Victoria obviously cares a lot for her holiday home and her attention to detail is superb.

Location is convenient for everywhere - either the beach across the road or for touring Cornwall.

We tend to go out of season as we bring our dogs with us as there is a seasonal ban on Marazion beach but I would expect that the town itself would be buzzing with holidaymakers in the summer. We love to watch the amphibious craft going backwards and forwards to St Michael's Mount when the tide is in.

Yes we will go again and it literally is home from home.

A little gem, lovely cottage, lovely town and lovely owner.

Janice

Loved the extra touches like the scones and clotted cream, dog biscuits and a ball for the dog, plus the cottage was kept lovely and warm in the winter which made it pleasurable to come back to after a day out.

Joanne

Ebenezer cottage was very clean with so much attention to detail in every aspect. It is with out doubt one of the best cottages I have stayed in. So comfortable and welcoming. I would stay there again. The location was great only a minute from the beach and pubs and restaurants. Marazion is a lovely place to visit and to stay.

Valerie

This was our 4th stay at Ebenezer Cottage. Victoria's attention to detail was amazing as always. We hope to bring our first grandchild with us next year as the cottage is ideally situated and very much home from home.

Karen

location was excellent , 75 metres to the beach , 200 metres to the village centre, two lovely places to eat just 75 metres
away. the property was spotless and the thought that went into the detail was amazing.beautifully fitted out upstairs and
down, everything provided you could wish for , and a little bit more. loved it .would certainly use again.

Steve

Just a little note to say thank you so much for a fabulous holiday. We really enjoyed our stay at Ebenezer Cottage and can’t wait to return. The cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean. You made us feel very welcome and have clearly thought of everything to make your guests feel welcome. All the little touches made it home from home. You really have gone that extra mile to ensure a perfect holiday. Ebenezer is also in a perfect location for Marazion Beach and over there on St Micheals Mount. I love Marazion and have now found the perfect place to stay!

Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe

Exceptional welcome pack - very well fitted out and most comfortable. A lovely area - missed far more than we wished, therefore a return a must. Probably the most dog friendly part of the country especially here in Ebenezer Cottage.

Mr & Mrs Piper

Simply the best holiday cottage/accommodation we have ever stayed in. Attention to detail and thoughtful touches quite remarkable. We hope to return next year. Many thanks.

Mr & Mrs Lambourne

Where to start! Cottage is beautiful, location is perfect, not to mention all the little extras that really makes Ebenezer Cottage a home from home. The highlight of the holiday was getting engaged on the causeway to St Micheals Mount! To our surprise, we came back to the cottage to find a card and gift from Victoria and Dick to congratulate us! Thank you for making this holiday extra special.

Emily & Mark

Janet, Beres & Rocco

Ebenezer Cottage has been just perfect! Beautifully kept and all the little extras were really appreciated and made us feel at home straight away (Herbie certainly loved the doggie bits left for him!) We've had a fantastic week although the weather could have been kinder to us, but we have made the most of it. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

The Stevens & Woods families

What an amazing place to stay in Marazion. We have been coming here for over 20 years and have stayed in some lovely places but this tops the list. Everything you could need is supplied and more. The lovely touches like the flowers, cream teas, welcome note, not to mention the dog treats, tennis bags and bags. This is ideally situated close to the beac, shops and pubs and could not be any nicer. Thank you to Victoria, the owner, for making our holiday with the amazing little touches. Will be back soon.

Dale and Sharon

Best cottage we have stayed in Cornwall. Everything you needed provided. Lovely location so close to beach. We have enjoyed morning walk on the beach with Harvey the last two mornings as dogs were allowed after 30 September. Thank you for the welcome tray with cream tea and cookies, a very nice touch. Hope to come back another year.
