Going way at Christmas isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Presents to take, what to wear, relatives not to see etc. Christmas is when many like to be in their own home, warm and cosy with their family but Ebenezer Cottage is brilliant! Everything we wanted was here and more. The home baked goodies were fabulous. (These came from my sisters cafe, Time Cafe, in Probes) Victoria has made this Christmas very special for us and we can only echo everything everyone else has written in this book. Spider will really miss his early morning beach rum, we will miss the beautiful sunrises and we hope to return again before to long. xx

We love Ebenezer Cottage and think this was our 6th visit. Victoria obviously cares a lot for her holiday home and her attention to detail is superb. Location is convenient for everywhere - either the beach across the road or for touring Cornwall. We tend to go out of season as we bring our dogs with us as there is a seasonal ban on Marazion beach but I would expect that the town itself would be buzzing with holidaymakers in the summer. We love to watch the amphibious craft going backwards and forwards to St Michael's Mount when the tide is in. Yes we will go again and it literally is home from home. A little gem, lovely cottage, lovely town and lovely owner.
Refurbished to an excellent standard throughout, Ebenezer Cottage is a highly desirable detached residence within moments of the wide sandy beach and south-west foot path at the coastal town of Marazion. This traditional slate-clad, white washed cottage has been transformed into a contemporary living space equipped with new furnishings and appliances, carefully picked for their style, quality and functionality. The interior has a subtle retro feel with sleek wood furniture and elegant chrome light fittings teamed with plush soft furnishings in varying shades of chocolate and teal. The open plan living room is a sociable space with doors to a private and enclosed patio and on cooler days it is made cosy by the warm glow of a modern flame effect fire. The kitchen is well equipped for the serious cook and stands out for its curved contours and ultra-glossy cream and black finishes and there is the added benefit of a WC /utility room. Upstairs is a comfortable double bedroom and twin bedroom (which can zip and link to 6' bed) and a bathroom with a fashionable shower/bath. Perfect for couples and families seeking a relaxing or active outdoor holiday, Marazion sits in the crescent of Mounts Bay, opposite the famous medieval castle of St Michael's Mount and neighbours the ancient market town of Penzance. Central for touring West Cornwall, the fine beaches at Praa Sands, Porthcurno and St Ives and the picturesque fishing villages at Porthleven and Sennen are all within a 30 minute drive but self-drive is not essential here. Marazion is a happy mix of local life and holiday resort providing a range of local amenities (including tea shops, art galleries, pubs and restaurants) and being served by main line rail station at Penzance and good local transport links. There is parking for one car.
