Taking in views over open countryside the elevated garden at the rear is a good spot for a barbecue on a summer's evening. Season fruit and vegetables can be purchased from the farm shop and small shops, pubs and a Cornish Meadery can be found three miles away in Pendeen. The rail terminus and shops of Penzance are within a ten minute drive and the beaches, galleries and restaurants of St Ives can be reached within 15 minutes.
