The fascinating prehistoric and geological sites of Bodmin Moor can be reached from Minions which is two miles away, popular among walkers for its heritage centre located in the disused engine house. Located within a short drive are the formal gardens at the National Trust owned Lanhydrock, Cotehele and Antony House, famed for their stunning blooms. The renowned Eden Project, whose biodomes are filled with flora and fauna from around the globe are a naturalist's paradise. The expansive surfing beaches at Whitsand Bay, Seaton and Downderry and the scenic south west footpath are also within easy reach. The neighbouring village of Upton Cross is home to The Sterts open air theatre offering entertainment and dining facilities. Little Hamlin is a pretty, two storey end of terrace, cottage-style property, next to the owners own residence.
