We've had a lovely time staying at Little Hamlin. The wine and scones were the perfect treat after a long journey from Mid Wales. This is such a beautiful little cottage and has been finished perfectly. We've had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and was perfectly situated which allowed us to explore Cornwall! Thanks!

• Romantic Cottage Hideaway • Lovey valley views • Village pub within 100 yards • Coastline & Beaches Within Reach • Superb Hiking & Biking • Private & Peaceful Village Location • Siblyback Lake Country Park Water Sports within a 15 Minute Drive

Nestled in the hamlet of Rilla Mill, Little Hamlin is a short distance from the wild granite landscape of Bodmin Moor, and within easy access of the south Cornish coastline. Close to the Cornwall- Devon border, it makes a superb base from which to discover both counties, with tranquil creeks and rivers, beautiful woodlands and fabulous seaside resorts ready for exploration. Coastal footpaths and inland walks are plentiful. Golitha Falls is a nearby captivating destination, with spectacular waterfalls that weave their way through ancient oak and beech woodlands. The fascinating prehistoric and geological sites of Bodmin Moor can be reached from Minions which is two miles away, popular among walkers for its heritage centre located in the disused engine house. Located within a short drive are the formal gardens at the National Trust owned Lanhydrock, Cotehele and Antony House, famed for their stunning blooms. The renowned Eden Project, whose biodomes are filled with flora and fauna from around the globe are a naturalist's paradise. The expansive surfing beaches at Whitsand Bay, Seaton and Downderry and the scenic south west footpath are also within easy reach. The neighbouring village of Upton Cross is home to The Sterts open air theatre offering entertainment and dining facilities. Little Hamlin is a pretty, two storey end of terrace, cottage-style property, next to the owners own residence. Situated on a traffic free lane, the modern and welcoming accommodation has a first floor sitting room and bedroom. Doors from the bedroom lead out to a private balcony with table and chairs for alfresco dining, and boasts scenic countryside views beyond. The popular Manor House Country Inn and Restaurant is within easy walking distance and serves fine food and refreshment. A stroll through the park with the river running through it is a relaxing way to end the day.
