Property Description
Spinners is an excellent holiday home for couples and families seeking a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting that is within easy reach of the spectacular north Cornish coastline. Tucked away at the end of a no-through lane on the grounds of a 110 acre arable farm, this conversion of a 17th century stone barn possesses immense character and charm. It is the largest of four barns including Weavers , Tanners , Potters and Turners which are available to book through Cornish Cottage Holidays. Spinners is the only cottage to offer a private courtyard with garden furniture to the rear for guests' sole use. The interior features attractive reverse style accommodation and a wood burner to add comfort during the cooler months. Carefully presented to create an atmosphere of harmony and relaxation, guests can wander the nearby footpaths through mellow countryside and wooded valleys, fish at the private course fishing lake (children to be supervised) or simply relax in the pretty shared garden which offers ample space for children to play and for adults to sit and admire far reaching views over a patchwork of scenic countryside. The north coast is famous for its surfing beaches, many of which are lifeguard patrolled, and quaint seaside towns and fishing villages. Don't miss a visit to the nearby beaches at Widemouth Bay, Trebarwith Strand, Crackington Haven, Rock and Polzeath; the vibrant seaside towns of Padstow and Bude and the charismatic fishing villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle. Children are well catered for even when the sun is not shining with numerous activities within easy reach including the indoor Splash Leisure Pool; The Eden Project; The Blue Reef Aquarium; the National Trust owned Trevigue Wildlife Conservation; The Tamar Otter Sanctuary; Tintagel Castle, legendary birthplace of King Arthur and Launceston Castle to name a few. There is the shared use of a hot tub with stunning countryside views, ample parking and a shop and pub/restaurant nearby.
