This family friendly beach boasts a relaxing haven; there are rock pools to explore or walk the three mile stretch of golden sand to Watergate Bay. Located on the first floor of a small apartment block facing inland, the living space is tastefully open plan with restful décor and contemporary furnishings. The balconied living room with dining area is welcoming, separated by a breakfast bar leading into the smart Shaker-style kitchen, and the bedrooms have a serene and relaxing ambiance. There is a small communal garden with lawn and table and chairs, and a built-in barbecue. Discover the cliff top footpaths and watch the north Atlantic rollers pound the dramatic coastline. From Porth to Trevose Head and further on up to Padstow are wonderful hidden bays and beautiful beaches all ready for exploration. For your convenience, a small shop, a pub and restaurant are just down the hill from the apartment. Newquay boasts attractions for all ages whatever the weather. There are eight fabulous beaches within walking distance of the town, with super surf and beautiful golden sands. Towan Beach is calm and perfect for swimmers and novice surfers, or take to Fistral Beach where the rollers are magnificent. You may even spot seals bobbing in the water at Harbour Beach and Mawgan Porth Beach has caves and rocks at low tide. The colourful harbour is busy with pleasure boats and fishing vessels and there are restaurants serving fresh local produce to keep hunger at bay. The unique town and fishing port of Padstow is a 30 minute drive away, renowned for Rick Stein's fabulous restaurants - do be sure to book in advance!
