Once a modest fisherman's cottage and net loft, this traditional granite stone building dating back to 1874 displays a delightful balance of contemporary furnishings against a rustic backdrop throughout its three storey interior. Perfect for all seasons, guests will be charmed by a living room where comfortable sofas rest in front of a wood burner on a raised tiled hearth and a well equipped galley kitchen is tucked into a corner of the room. A rear door gives access out to a small shared courtyard. On the first floor a blue carpeted twin bedroom lies next to the family bathroom and from the landing a steep narrow open tread staircase (not suitable for the infirm) leads up to the second floor spacious double bedroom which displays the characteristic uneven stone walls, gently sloping floors and high vaulted ceiling and low level windows of the old net loft. French windows frame a captivating picture postcard view of the harbour and sitting up in bed with an early morning cup of tea, you can watch the Newlyn fleet heading for the fishing grounds. An outhouse provides storage for beach gear and fishing rods. If you feel the need to explore, Lamorna, Porthcurno, Lands End, Sennen and St Ives are all within easy distance. Parking can be found in the harbour car park.
