Property Description

Eagle's View is just a hop, skip and a jump from the wide stretch of golden sand at Carbis Bay. With a bird's eye view across the rooftops to St Ives Bay from the open plan living space, it is easy to soak up the seaside atmosphere from this well presented first floor apartment. Close to but more peaceful than its famous neighbour St Ives, Carbis Bay is a coastal village with a good range of local shops and restaurants and a café overlooking the beach making it the perfect base for a fun filled family break. Magical St Ives is within twenty minutes walk along the undulating coastal path or just a couple of minutes by train from the nearby branch line station. This picturesque harbour town is a maze of tiny cobbled lanes with quaint shops and breath-taking seaside vistas. Bask in the sunshine at one of the quayside eateries and enjoy the amazing view across to Godrevy Lighthouse, immortalised by the novelist Virginia Woolf. A well kept secret, Porth Kidney Sands can be reached at low tide around Hawkes Point to the east of Carbis Bay and if you are lucky you may have it all to yourselves. Make sure you take supplies though as there is no café here. For rainy day entertainment take the children to Paradise Park in nearby Hayle, a wildlife and bird sanctuary with an indoor play centre. Set in a private residential area, a flight of steps lead up to the first floor and a balcony offering views of the ocean. Once inside the open plan living space is comfortably furnished making it ideal for couples and small families. The two neat bedrooms have ample storage and share a modern bathroom with a spa bath. Outside is a small communal garden.
