The property enjoys spectacular rural views from all the principal rooms and bird watchers will delight in the variety of wildlife. The area is a walker's paradise and there are a myriad of footpaths from the village around the local area and along the Helford River where you will discover hidden creeks and empty beaches. The lush wooded estuary of the Helford has timeless appeal, with ancient oak woods lining the banks, interspersed with pretty waterside villages. Constantine is a popular village with good local facilities including a pub and two village stores whilst just a mile away is the award winning Trengilly Wartha Inn. The tranquility of the area belies its busy past; around the corner from Constantine is Port Navas, where huge granite blocks were once loaded for shipment to London and the Duchy Oyster Farm is now thriving again. Continuing east from Port Navas will bring you to Helford Passage and from here it is possible to catch a passenger ferry that has been in operation since the Middle Ages across to the sleepy village of Helford. For those who like to be in more cosmopolitan surroundings, a trip to Falmouth is essential. Home to Cornwall's maritime heritage, this bustling town has no shortage of shops, restaurants, cafes and galleries as well as being host to many events throughout the year including sailing regattas and food festivals. Built on a gentle slope, there are steps leading down to the front door of Church View although once inside the accommodation is all on one level. Outside the gardens are gently sloping and young children should be supervised as there are different levels. There is parking for several cars.
