Approached down a private country lane, Stella Maris enjoys seclusion within rambling mature gardens which sweep around the seaward side of the house. There is a superb terrace accessed from the kitchen which is perfect for alfresco dining and a barbeque is available for guests use. A holiday on the lizard peninsula is a chance to escape the realities of the modern world and the local area is peaceful and unspoilt. A ten minute stroll will take you down to Gillan Cove where there is a small beach which you are likely to have all to yourselves at any time of year and from here there is access to the coast path. Within five minutes drive the village of Manaccan offers good local facilities including a shop, thatched pub and bistro. The delightful Helford village on the river of the same name is just a mile further north and boats can be hired at nearby St Anthony. There is parking for 2-3 cars on the driveway. Please note that Stella Maris has an open stair and the gardens are steeply sloping in some places with steep stone steps, therefore young children must be supervised.
