A gentle uphill walk to its summit will reward you with spectacular views and reveal the remains of a Celtic settlement dating back to 250BC. There are level walks from the front door step and thirsty expeditions can be rounded-off with some refreshment at The Lion and Lamb pub which is a 10 minute walk from the property. Naturalists will discover a rich and varied wildlife, no more obvious than the glorious melodies of bird song that fill the air, and dog owners will find plenty of open countryside for their pets to run around. There is a coastal golf course and surf school within a 5 minute drive and Penzance, Marazion and St Ives are within a 9 mile radius. Practical for couples and families, Ramblers Retreat is a honest and comfortably appointed single storey holiday home. Whilst the owners and their very friendly dog, Ruben, live in the adjoining property it is not overlooked and enjoys a pleasant and private outlook over a pretty garden. Patio doors in the sitting room open onto a sheltered patio equipped with garden furniture and a gas barbecue and the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. Guests arrive to a complimentary homemade cream tea and loaf of bread. Parking for one car and secure storage for bikes/surfboards. There is a wildlife pond on the grounds.
