A selection of holiday properties in Praa Sands
The village of Praa Sands has a mile long sandy beach and an eighteen hole golf course. There are a couple of cafes: "The Cove" and "The Sandbar" which is also a bar/restaurant just above the beach with spectacular views. During the Second World War, Praa Sands was involved in Coastal Defence and the War Effort. The nearby Pengersick Castle dates back several centuries, and is said to be the most haunted location in the country. There are guided tours of the castle, including overnight tours for those brave enough! On the way down into Praa Sands there is a Londis and a Post Office as well as a supply shop "R. & J. Supplies". There is ample parking by the beach with toilet facilities. It is possible to have surfing lessons with "Shore Surf" too which is always a great option whether it's sunny or not.
