Smugglers Cottage is a gorgeous, recently renovated property in the heart of Mullion. It seems that no expense has been spared in preparing this cottage for the holiday rental market. Accessed via the side door, the kitchen (with cloakroom off) is presented to a high standard with breakfast bar, large fridge-freezer and well equipped kitchen cupboards. Another door then leads through to a sunny garden room with bi-fold doors opening onto a tiny patio. Back through the kitchen a doorway leads into the super stylish dining and living room with huge Inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and large comfy sofas. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two doubles (one with en-suite WC), a twin room and the family bathroom - all of which are presented to a very high standard of comfort and style. The garage, reserved for Smugglers Cottage guests is useful especially during the busy summer months.

On the Lizard Peninsula with beautiful beaches, harbours and secret coves, Smugglers Cottage in the heart of Mullion makes a stunning base for your Cornwall adventure. Mullion harbour and fishing cove on the eastern side of Mounts Bay has a history of smuggling, and is just a four minute drive away. Enjoy a kayaking adventure or fish from the dinky quayside. Browse the art galleries and settle with a coffee before a ramble along the cliff top framing uninterrupted sea views. Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of the UK, boasts a unique landscape with lighthouse and brilliant ocean vistas. This coastal village setting offers shops for provisions, craft shops and art galleries all on your doorstep. The friendly thatched Old Inn is just two minutes away and perfect for an evening stroll. The picturesque coastline entices you with hot-spot locations including Kynance Cove and Polurrian Bay Beach. Arguably one of the most beautiful beaches with white sands, aqua waters and dramatic cliffs is at Kynance Cove, a 20 minute drive away. Explore the interconnecting caves that appear at low tide, swim or picnic above the beach with sublime ocean backdrop. The beach café serves refreshments including locally brewed beer. Continue east to the traditional fishing village of Cadgwith Cove with two beaches and a popular pub for pit stops. Nearby Poldhu beach is easily accessible and popular for families with sand, surf school and cafe. Porthleven, with its timeless harbour and sandy, sheltered beach and eclectic mix of galleries and eateries is within a 9 mile drive. Renovated to a very high standard from top to toe, the warm and welcoming interior oozes quality and comfort. The sitting dining room boasts a substantial wood burner set in a large granite inglenook fireplace, rug topped polished wooden floor and plenty of comfy seating for everyone. The kitchen is country style and well equipped for keen cooks. Eat at the elegant dining table or relax in the sun room with bi-fold doors opening onto a little terrace for sunshine nibbles. Head upstairs to a serene master bedroom for restful slumber with sumptuous mattress and quality linens. A second double and a twin bedroom, which children and adults will love, and a spotless bathroom for washing away sandy toes after a day on the coast completes the interior of this super stylish homestay.

One flight of stairs to First Floor: Bedroom 1 with 5' Bed and en-suite WC. Bedroom 2 Double. Bedroom 3 Twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over and WC. Other amenities: FREE Wi-Fi, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher and one FREE basket of logs provided. One pet welcome at £25 per week. Towels, bed linen and electric central and underfloor heating included. The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of carpeting, wooden floors, tiles, laminate and rugs throughout. External doors range from 77-94 cm in width and 176-205 cm in height. Internal doors range from 53-84 cm in width and 173-198 cm in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. There is a small enclosed rear patio. There is off-road parking for one small car in a garage approximately 5m from the property entrance. There are two FREE car parks close by in the village for larger and additional vehicles.
