Marhayes is a stylish character property set within 100 acres of stunning private grounds in the heart of North Cornwall. Sleeping up to six guests, and their four legged friends, in great comfort, the beautifully presented barn conversion features a well equipped open plan kitchen/dining area with plenty of countryside chic combined with modern styling, and a spacious and tastefully furnished living area with a toasty wood burning stove and a warm and welcoming ambience. Three extremely comfortable and luxurious bedrooms await upstairs (the two doubles with four poster beds) and all with smart ensuite shower rooms and uninterrupted rural views. In addition to well maintained and expansive private grounds, guests will also enjoy the private indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym.

There was something for everyone at the property, children had a great time in the pool and sauna, also learning to play pool. My daughter took pleasure in taking photos of the grounds especially the river. We had some very lovely walks through the grounds in the mornings and evenings. The property is very well located to many other beautiful attractions in Cornwall so a great base. Marhayes was decorated to our taste, country cottage/shabby chic with some great features such as the range cooker and underfloor heating. There is also a log burner but for us was not needed! Lots of space for our whole family. Spectacular views, lots of local wildlife to watch as you have your breakfast. We were all very happy and relaxed. Lovely extra's such as dog treat, fresh flowers and a pint of milk on your arrival. Dogs very well catered for with bowls provided, this is not just under a dog friendly heading, it is actually dog friendly, our three are sulking now they are back home and we live in an area of outstanding beauty in the countryside of Somerset! We will be booking to come again.

We stayed at Westhayes last year and Marhayes this year. As two couples with four children and four dogs I can't think of a better place to stay! Every need is catered for for both humans and canines alike. The cottages are immaculate and spacious and the land to walk and explore around is stunning. And the pool... what can I say other than it is amazing. We have and will continue to recommend Helsbury to everyone. Thank you for another thoroughly fantastic week away.

When you stay in one of the two stunning barns you can kick off your shoes and put your feet up in front of a roaring fire or wallow in a steaming bath after a hard day's exploring. Helsbury Park will add the comforts of home to your holiday experience and it won't just be your precious pets that are pampered when you stay in these exceptional properties. Situated in the heart of North Cornwall this unique site is nestled in between three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty: The Camel Valley, Bodmin Moor and the North Cornish Coast, this unique venue not only offers luxurious accommodation but is also totally dog friendly. Stroll around the private grounds which include a river, bridge, woods and pasture - it will take you about an hour to loop the whole garden. Take in spectacular vistas of Bodmin Moor and the Camel Valley with a view of Roughtor and Devil's Jump to the east and the river valley to the south. Marhayes mixes character with modern comfort and offers spacious open plan living downstairs and three generous bedrooms all with ensuite shower rooms. The master bedroom has a king size four poster bed, the double bedroom has a double four poster bed and the third bedroom is a twin. There is an additional family bathroom downstairs. This property is perfect for families who enjoy the outdoors with a terrace that runs along the whole front of the house with spectacular views. A range cooker and wood burner add to the feeling of a dream home from home. Traditional materials and exposed beams teamed with high ceilings and light, modern décor provide rustic charm and room to breathe. Built at right angles with Westhayes (which also sleeps 6) they share an open-plan front garden, with an enclosed private area to the rear where dogs can be exercised in a controlled space, along with an outdoor kennel. What more could you and your four legged friends wish for! For larger groups we also let the adjoining properties: Westhayes (6099) and The Farmhouse (6097), both of which sleep 6.

3 Bedrooms - Sleeping up to 6 Adults (plus 1 additional child on request at £50 p/w on a z-bed) The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of carpeting, slate flooring, tile floors and rugs throughout. External doors are of a standard width and height and internal doors are a standard width and height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. There is off-road parking for three cars on a pebble drive within 10m of the entrance with four uneven granite steps to the path. One step to Entrance. Ground Floor: Kitchen/Dining Room. Sitting Room with wood burner and 32" TV. Bathroom with bath, bidet and WC. One flight of stairs to First Floor: Bedroom 1 Double with en-suite Shower Room with walk-in shower and WC. Bedroom 2 Twin with en-suite Shower Room with walk-in shower and WC. Bedroom 3 with 5' bed and en-suite Shower Room with double walk-in shower cubicle and WC. Other amenities: Access to the office with FREE Wi-Fi next to The Farmhouse. Dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge/freezer, stair-gate, charcoal barbecue and one basket of logs provided. Indoor heated swimming pool, gym and sauna available year round. Towels, bed linen and electric panel heaters and oil under floor heating included. Unlimited dogs welcome at £20 each per week.
