Bell Vue House is a charming and characterful Grade II listed cottage, nestled in a quiet and secluded location on the outskirts of the mining heritage town of Liskeard. The property is accessed via a pretty and tranquil cottage garden, with a lawned area and a courtyard area with seating - ideal for alfresco dining. Once inside, Bell Vue House is warm, welcoming, comfy and super stylish throughout, offering an eclectic and quirky charm and a tasteful colour palette of warm greys and crisp whites. A spacious and well equipped kitchen (certainly offering the 'wow' factor), an elegant dining area and a bright comfortable and co-ordinated living room are all located on the ground floor with stairs ascending to two sumptuous, stylish, super comfy and elegant double bedrooms; a small room with bunk beds and a bathroom brimming with character. Ideally located to explore both the nearby coastline and countryside, this lovely cottage offers a relaxed, warm and well equipped base.

The property was extremely well presented and we loved the little touches such as the afternoon tea - made us feel very welcome. The whole property is co-ordinated and it was very clean and bright. It was a pleasure to walk from room to room. The living room was very warm and comfortable. The beds too were very comfortable (I suffer from a bad back and it is rare that I have a comfortable night's sleep when I am away but I did in this property). The carpet was wonderful under foot. Very clean every where and we loved the all the pictures and accessories. There was plenty of cleaning products and I was impressed to see both dishwasher tablets and washing tables - neither of which I had expected and brought my own, a lovely touch. We loved this property it was comfortable, well appointed, very clean and had lots of personal touches, a real home from home. It is perfectly placed to visit so many Cornish attractions. We would definitely return again.

Belle View House is a charismatic rustic Grade II listed cottage, bursting with charm and character, within nine miles of the Cornish Riviera coastline. With a delightful suntrap garden for barbecues, alfresco escapades and relaxation, it makes a wonderful base for exploring coast and country. With an abundance of beaches, fishing villages and inland attractions reached within or just over a 30 minute drive, there is lots of fun to be had. Looe is just nine miles away, a lively coastal resort centred round the harbour with tea rooms, eateries and colourful cottages stacked amidst the picturesque valley. The big sandy beach is a favourite with families. Polperro is the quintessential Cornish cove, undoubtedly one of the prettiest with traditional inns, little gift shops and scenic coast path promising beautiful seascapes. Drive to Polruan and board the Bodinnick ferry to Fowey, famous for the annual regatta with restaurants, art galleries and stunning water vista. Visit the aquarium or take a pleasure boat excursion. 'Poldark's' Charlestown is famed for its Tall Ships and the Eden Project, a must-go-to venue, is a 17 mile drive away. The City of Plymouth is within an easy drive for theatre fun (book in advance!) and retail therapy. Liskeard hosts butchers, bakers and fishmongers selling fresh, local produce and supermarkets for the essentials within a five minute walk. Belle View House nestles in the mining heritage town of Liskeard, with country rustic accommodation featuring sash windows, shutters, wibbly walls and exposed timbers, with pretty south facing enclosed garden with patio and little lawn for safe play and alfresco dining, plus storage for boards and cycles. The cosy sitting room with comfy sofas is a relaxing spot. The dining room is perfect for pasty lunches and cream teas and the modern kitchen is divine for rustling up a bite to eat - if the local eateries can't tempt you. With three sleep inducing bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor, this cottage makes a truly superb homestay for couples, families and friends.

Other amenities: FREE Wi-Fi, dishwasher, table top freezer, tumble dryer and charcoal barbecue. Childrens toys and books, dog food bowls and mat. Towels, bed linen and central heating included. Two pets welcome at £25 each per week. The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of carpet, ceramic tiles and wood throughout. External door is 75.5cm x 198cm width and height and internal doors range from 73.5cm - 84cm in width and 187cm - 202cm in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The enclosed front garden has a mixture of lawn, patio and paved pathway. On-street parking approx 7 metres from the entrance. From parking there are 11 slate steps and a garden path on a gentle slope up to the front door.
