A stylish retreat for two, Cider Barn is tucked away in rural north Cornwall, just five miles from the beaches of the Atlantic coast. Sitting pretty in a sun trap enclosed garden, this cute as a button cottage is a romantic haven for couples. The immaculate interior has been cleverly designed to maximise the space and is simply a lovely place to be! South facing, the open plan living area is filled with natural light, with a vaulted ceiling and colour scheme of calming creams. Open up the French windows and spill out into the gorgeous garden or on cooler evenings you can light the wood burning stove and snuggle up on the squashy leather sofa. You can dine at the little table or at the wide breakfast bar for a more casual approach - the kitchen is more than amply equipped for two so no excuses for living on fish and chips! The cosy mezzanine bedroom with pocket sprung mattress is nestled up in the eaves of the barn ( ceiling height 1.7m at centre to 0.75m in eaves) A bespoke Jack and Jill style ladder provides access so this property may not be suitable for the infirm. The contemporary shower room with double shower is on the ground floor along with ample storage for clothes. Designer fabrics, crisp linens, cosy bath robes and welcome goodies complete the picture. On balmy days you can breakfast at the bistro table then take to the super comfy sun loungers with a good book. The apple tree, climbing roses and rambling lavender create a real English country garden feel. A charcoal barbecue is also provided so all you need is some fresh fish from the quay in Port Isaac. There is a shed for bike or surf storage plus a generous off road parking space inside the five bar gate. Cider Barn is a great choice for dog owners with an enclosed garden and holiday essentials pack for your pet. The dog friendly beach at Daymer Bay is a favourite for a Sunday morning stroll. Just under five miles away Port Isaac is a quintessential Cornish fishing village with winding lanes, old inns and stunning turquoise waters. Holiday hot spot beaches at Polzeath and Rock are also within easy reach with Padstow accessible by passenger ferry across the Camel Estuary. The nearest foodie pub, The Maltsters Arms is less than a mile away and we highly recommend treating yourselves to a meal at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac. You can walk it off the next day with a hike along the coastal path or perhaps cycling the stunning Camel trail.

Bed linen, bath towels and bathrobes provided together with St Kitts Herbery toiletries. Electric heating and logs and kindling for the fire included. Up to 2 pets welcome at £20 each per week by arrangement with the owner. Microfibre dog towel, biodegradable waste bags, small packet of treats, water carrier and dispenser, toy suitable for the garden or the beach provided. The property offers accommodation over 2 floors and has a mixture of wooden and carpet flooring throughout. The external door is non standard at 206 cm x 125 cm. The door to the shower room is of a standard width and height. Kitchen work tops are of a standard height. The garden has a mixture of lawn and paving. There is off- road parking for one car on a gravel surface approx 5 metres from the entrance.
