Trevanger Cottage is in a beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful and yet close to so many amenities and places of interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

With an indulgence of tantalizing beaches, enchanting fishing villages and dramatic coastline close by, Trevanger Cottage takes full advantage of its superb location close to the sea. Within two miles of the exclusive resort of Rock and Polzeath Beach, this charismatic cottage with rural views hits the spot for happy holiday getaways set in the pretty village of St Minver. Polzeath is a mile up the coast with surf school, or enjoy a coffee and brunch at family friendly The Point restaurant. Spend a fun day at Rock, a favoured resort famed for its excellent water sports. The sandy beach at low tide stretches to stunning Daymer Bay with rolling surf and rock pools for exploration, so bring buckets, spades and fishing nets. Dogs are permitted all year round so good beach strolls with Fido are guaranteed. Enjoy the estuary views to Padstow or better still board the Black Tor ferry across the River Camel estuary and peruse the boutiques, galleries and Rick Stein's restaurant, all dotted around the quay. Port Isaacs' picturesque cove (the home of TV's Doc Martin) and Port Quin with coasteering and kayaking for the energetic, are within a short drive. Wadebridge is four miles away - great for stocking up on provisions. For less wet escapades, hire a cycle and peddle the scenic, level Camel Trail or ramble the inland and south west coastal footpath with spectacular seascape vistas. St Enodoc is within a mile of the cottage with a superb 18 hole links golf course. After the days' activities the Fourways Coaching Inn in the heart of St Minver offers good Cornish fayre and traditional ales if you opt to stay local. Trevanger Cottage ticks all the boxes for character and cheer with a cosy interior throughout. The living room is the hub of the home for relaxation with comfy sofas and an enticing wood burner. The cottage kitchen is charming and the bedrooms restful. The enclosed, private garden is a sunspot for rest, play, barbecues and alfresco dining with glorious country views, destined to entice families and couples back for a return stay.

The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of wood, carpeting, and tiled flooring with rugs throughout. External doors are not standard, ranging from 196cm-203cm in height and 76cm-81cm in width. Internal doors are not standard, ranging from 175cm-181cm in height and 76cm-83cm in width. Kitchen worktops are higher than standard height 93cm. The garden has a mixture of lawn, concrete and paved surfaces. There is road side parking approx 10 metres from the entrance. From the parking area, there is a paved path on a gentle slope to the entrance.
