This detached 16 Century Tudor homestay has a spacious exquisite interior with vaulted ceilings and soft shades - a bolthole for a relaxing sunshine break or a cosy cuddle in the cooler months. The generous open plan interior offers an effortless elegance, with an inglenook fireplace, inviting wood burner and classic sofa to curl up on after a day of adventure! Central to the room is the dining area and the modern minimalist kitchen has all the appliances for cookery creations. A stable door leads out to the charismatic ancient cobbled courtyard; a private nook for morning coffee, catching some sun or star gazing. To the side is a lawn overlooking the owner's gardens and meadow, a place to kick-back on sun-loungers with a good book! The mezzanine bedroom is beautifully styled and guaranteed to envelop and cosset. Returning to the ground floor, the wow-factor bathroom has a big walk-in shower, 'his & hers' washbasins and decadent claw-foot bath - perfect for relaxing with champagne. Adjacent to the owner's own home, Trevoole Old Manor is a real pleaser and makes a fabulous venue for discovering Cornwall's coastal and country attractions. Drive to St Erth and board the branch line for a shore-hugging train trip to St Ives. A big choice of eateries with sea view tables and harbour-side seats, plus boutiques, art galleries, Tate St Ives and more make for a happy time at this iconic resort. Explore Gwithian and Godrevy with big sandy beach, lighthouse vista, rock-pools and coast-path. Enjoy the panoramic seascapes - the sunsets are stunning! A little further up the coast towards Hell's Mouth is the sheltered cove favoured by the seals. Just fifteen minutes south, Porthleven has more fabulous restaurants. Head for Kota or Rick Stein for incredible local seafood. Praze an Beeble village is a mile away with foodie pub and shop for provisions, and Hayle offers supermarkets and an eclectic mix of stores, plus the picturesque estuary. There are two other beautiful properties within the grounds of Trevoole Old Manor, allowing flexibility for larger groups: Trevoole Barn which sleeps up to 4 and Trevoole Shepherd's Hut which also sleeps 2.
