Had a lovely week here in this comfortable apartment in an amazing location. Lots of lovely meals out. Marazion is an absolute favourite of ours, still unspoilt. Thank you for providing such a well-equipped holiday, loved it!

With the beach just a short stroll from the front door and sea views from the patio, Castaways is the perfect beachside retreat. This contemporary, south west facing and well equipped ground floor apartment is just paces from Marazion's wide, sweeping, sandy beach and looks across to the famous island of St. Michael's Mount. This iconic island castle with its tiny harbour and pretty cottages tucked below with cafes and shop can be visited along a cobbled causeway or small ferry boats at high tide. Castaways is the ideal place to relax and watch the many water activities of sail boats, kite surfers, canoeists and fishermen in the Bay whilst enjoying a morning coffee or an alfresco meal. You will never tire from the ever changing colours and moods of the sea and sky. Both doors to the apartment can be opened fully for all that sea air and sun to come flooding in. The open plan living area is spacious for two and has a modern decor. The well equipped kitchen has all you will need for your stay and the bonus of a lovely view across the Bay. The light airy bedroom has been tastefully decorated and the en-suite fitted with a large double shower. Marazion is a small coastal town with an eclectic mix of galleries, craft shops, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Castaways is in an excellent location for exploring the unique and beautiful peninsula of Penwith. There are several sandy beaches within a short drive including, Perranuthnoe, Porthcurno and Sennen. The market town of Penzance is just a couple of miles from Marazion along the Coastal Footpath and the picturesque resort of St Ives is less than 10 miles drive. For an evening out why not visit the open air Minack Theatre, carved out of the granite cliffs? It is stunning and definitely worth a visit. Keen walkers will be pleased to know that the South West coastal path passes along the beach to the front of the apartment and if you are a nature lover the RSPB Nature Reserve on Marazion Marsh offers superb bird watching. This area has something for all ages and interests.
