Carne Vue is a lovely bright open plan bungalow which has been thoughtfully designed to be wheelchair accessible. It has been stylishly renovated to provide a large vaulted living space with a well equipped kitchen, dining table and seating area around the electric fireplace. Both of the bedrooms have plenty of space and share a large wet room which is ideal for those less mobile. The position of Carne Vue on the moorlands of West Penwith are perfect for those guests who enjoy walking and a real bonus is that pets are welcomed.
All our properties are personally appraised by our team, who work in association with Visit England to ensure quality standards are upheld.

Carne Vue is just a 20 minute drive to St Ives and 10 minutes to St Just and Zennor. With views extending over countryside to the ruined engine house of Ding Dong mine, the tiny rural hamlet of Great Bosullow is ideally located to explore this legendary part of Cornwall. The glorious beach at Sennen is less than 20 minutes and for those who would like to explore try some nearby coves such as Portheras Cove or Gurnards Head Beach. Set on a seventy acre farm, peaceful walks extend for miles in all directions. A modern semi-detached bungalow built to a high specification, all rooms are generously proportioned for modern living, and its contemporary design also facilitates full manoeuvrability for wheelchairs. A sloping ceiling inset with remote control Velux windows adds a light, airy quality to the uncluttered ambience of a comfortable living room furnished with leather sofas and a stylish dining suite; the adjoining kitchen is fully fitted with Maple cabinets. Natural pine floors extend into the bedrooms each with their own DVD TV's and the soft neutral decor is carried through into a lavishly tiled wet room which boasts a bath and a walk-in shower. Visit the local Rural Centre, a particular favourite of children where chinchillas, chipmunks and rabbits can be viewed on request. Taking in views over open countryside the elevated garden at the rear is a good spot for a barbecue on a summer's evening. Seasonal fruit and vegetables can be purchased from the farm shop and small shops, pubs and a Cornish Meadery can be found three miles away in Pendeen. The rail terminus and shops of Penzance are within a ten minute drive and the beaches, galleries and restaurants of St Ives are a must visit during your stay. For larger parties, we also let the neighbouring property Chywolow Lodge (3013) which sleeps 8.

Bed linen, towels, underfloor and central heating included. One pet welcome at £20. Suitable for wheelchairs The property offers accommodation over one level and has a mixture of tile, wood floors and rugs throughout. External doors are slightly wider and slightly shorter than standard height 83cmx193cm. Internal doors are higher and wider than standard, measuring 90cmx202cms. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The garden has a mixture of paving and lawn and a ramp for access. There is off-road parking for at least two cars on a hard surface driveway. The parking spaces are very close to the property entrance.
