Cornish and Devonshire Cottage Holidays care about quality

VisitEngland Accredited Agency

Our quality standards matter to us, which is why we have been recognised and accredited by VisitEngland. As a VisitEngland accredited agency, Cornish & Devonshire Cottage Holidays are regularly inspected, tested and signed off by tourism experts who are happy to give us their stamp of approval for solid standards and processes that work to benefit our guests and property owners.

At least once a year, VisitEngland will visit our offices for a number of days and work with our teams to see how we do things. Our staff demonstrate to VisitEngland the broad range of our customer service and property appraisal processes to ensure we are doing the best job possible for our owners and guests. As a business, we are thrilled to work in partnership with VisitEngland who continue to support, appraise and recognise the hard work of our team.

Members of ABTA

Cornish and Devonshire Cottage Holidays is a member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents). Our membership number is P5021. ABTA and ABTA members help holidaymakers to get the most from their travel and assist them when things do not go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA’s Code of Conduct. For further information about ABTA, the Code of Conduct or the arbitration scheme available to you if you have a complaint, contact ABTA, 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ, telephone: 0203 117 0599, or visit www.abta.com

We are obliged by ABTA to inform you of the following;

Disputes arising out of this contract. The scheme is arranged by ABTA and administered independently. It is a simple and inexpensive method of arbitration on documents alone with restricted liability on you for costs. The upper limit on claims is £5,000 per person and £25,000 per booking form. The scheme doesn’t apply to claims which are solely in respect of physical injury or illness or their consequences. It can however deal with claims which include an element of minor injury or illness subject to a limit of £1,500 on the amount the arbitrator can award per person in respect of this element. Your request for arbitration must be received by ABTA within eighteen months of the date of return from holiday. For injury and illness claims, you can request the ABTA Mediation Procedure and we have the option to agree to mediation. Further information on the Code and ABTA's assistance in resolving disputes can be found on www.abta.com.
