Situated right on one of Cornwall’s most famous surfing beaches, the terrace at The Fish House offers a sunset dining experience which is not to be missed!

If you’d like to learn to surf (preferably before your meal!) the restaurant is partnered with Fins Surf School, who offer family-friendly lessons which can be booked in advance. With a relaxed atmosphere and a menu you don’t see every day, this place is certainly worth a visit for breakfast, brunch or dinner.

For more recommendations in the area, read our blog on the best places to eat in Newquay.

Best Restaurants in Penzance

The Shore

Nestled in the middle of Penzance, The Shore is a cosy family restaurant with only one member of staff: Its owner, Bruce Rennie. It’s mentioned in the Michelin Guide for good reason, with a Japanese ‘Omotenashi’ dining style, meaning great hospitality is at the centre of the whole experience.
