However, summer and autumn were stand out seasons, with our average holiday let <strong>occupancy hitting 84%<\/strong> for the peak summer weeks in Cornwall.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some key statistics on how Cornish Cottage Holidays performed in 2025, and the agency\u2019s core achievements for the year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We now market and manage a portfolio of <strong>over 800<\/strong> properties throughout Cornwall.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a challenging winter, average holiday let occupancy throughout the peak summer holiday period was <strong>84%<\/strong>. During the peak period, net occupancy increased 0.2% from 2024.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>28%<\/strong> of our bookings taken in Cornwall were made within four weeks of the holiday start date \u2013 a <strong>4%<\/strong> increase from the previous year.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lead times for bookings are decreasing, with <strong>2%<\/strong> of August bookings now being made <strong>on the holiday start date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>28%<\/strong> of our bookings were for short breaks of three, four or five nights.
