Cornish Cottage Holidays is proud to announce it has been chosen as the letting agent for Heliview Cottage, Cornwall Air Ambulance’s holiday cottage raising money for its new Heli Appeal.<\/strong> Alex Polizzi, Hospitality expert and TV\u2019s The Hotel Inspector was in Newquay this week to formally open the delightful stone built cottage based at the home of Cornwall Air Ambulance (available to book from May). There were over 100 guests in attendance as she gave her seal of approval on the property:<\/p>\n

By staying at Heliview Cottage you can not only be a helicopter spotter, but you can also support the essential work of Cornwall Air Ambulance. Because all the profits from the first year will go towards the New Heli Appeal and the mission to bring a new air ambulance helicopter to Cornwall.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As we all know, Cornwall Air Ambulance continue to be vital in ensuring that residents and guests of Cornwall are airlifted to safety as quickly as possible. In 2018, Cornwall Air Ambulance saved the lives of 131 adults and 30 children who were on holiday in the county. The charity is just over half-way through its New Heli Appeal<\/strong> to raise \u00a32.5m for a bigger and faster helicopter that will help the charity save even more time in getting to patients, giving the opportunity to save more lives in the process.<\/p>\n

Cornish Cottage Holidays<\/strong> are delighted to have been chosen as the sole letting agent for Heliview, a uniquely positioned three-bedroom holiday cottage in the grounds of Cornwall Air Ambulance Headquarters at Trevithick Downs near Newquay. The 3 bedroom stone built cottage is a haven for aviation enthusiasts, with the opportunity to see the helicopters up close, meet the crew and glimpse views of Newquay Airport from the bedroom windows upstairs. It offers a contemporary-style interior welcoming families, couples and friends to share a well-earned break in an interesting part of Cornwall.<\/p>\n
