“When we first arrived at the accommodation we found the courtyard covered in weeds and the once cream cushions on the chairs completely green.”
It was not a nice welcome. First impressions of the flat were as we expected, a good size for 2 people plus a dog. I went to take a shower and found about 50 long grey hairs up the shower wall. Again, not pleasant. It was strange to find that there was no hairdryer (what seems to be a basic amenity in holiday accommodation) and no bin bags provided. The next days we tried call the property owner about the cleanliness of the property, plus the fact that there was no hairdryer and no bin bags. There were no contact details for the owner so we called Sykes. We were told that the property owner would make contact with us directly but we never heard anything throughout our stay. We were relieved that nothing series happened throughout the stay such as a lost key as I have no faith that the property owner would have been contactable. Overall, Mullion is a nice area but I would not return to this accommodation.
