“The only thing 4 star about this property were the views and the large windows overlooking the view.”

There is no garden only a veranda with some steps down to a pathway around the property. The ensuite shower could not be used as just a trickle of water, also you couldn't shut the door of the ensuite, so when using the toilet no privacy. Also stored by the front door was the broom dust pan and brush and clothes horse as no cupboards for them, and under the bed in the second bedroom was the Hoover. The place could do with a deep clean, also in the early hours of 8/07/21 there was navy/army ...

The place could do with a deep clean, also in the early hours of 8/07/21 there was navy/army training with sounds of machine gun fire and flares in the sky, like the middle of a war zone there are no prior warnings telling you this might happen in the area, my Grandaughter was terrified. Also the kitchen very is basic for a 4 star accommodation. So overall it was dissapointing.

The water pressure in the area is low, when both showers are on this will make the water pressure drop even more. The en-suit door will be checked to ensure that this will close properly. With regards to the noise from the military operation that took place, this is not something that has been heard before. We are sorry that this disrupted your stay. We will be speaking to our housekeeper with regards to the deep clean. Sorry you feel that the kitchen was basic we feel that this is adequate for the size of the property and had lack of cupboard space this, this was designed to keep the open plan aspect of the property. About the location

ANTONY

Plymouth 3 miles (via ferry); Whitsand Bay 2 miles.

Antony is a small village on the Rame Peninsula, set on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Lynher River estuary, with excellent ferry links to Plymouth just 3 miles away. There is a good village pub, and just outside the village is Antony House, one of the finest Georgian Mansions in Cornwall, owned by the National Trust and used for the filming of "Alice in Wonderland". Along the southern edges of the Rame Peninsula there are miles of beautiful coastal walks with glorious views of Rame Head, towering above the sea. Nearby is Mount Edgcumbe Park providing fabulous views of Plymouth Sound. Just two miles south of Antony lies Whitsand Bay with its 4 miles of sandy beach and dramatic cliffs. A little farther afield in Plymouth there is plenty to amuse everyone; visit the Aquarium, wine and dine in the lanes of the historic Barbican harbour area or indulge in a spot of retail therapy.

Note: The water pressure in the local area is low. When using both shower at the same time the pressure will drop even more.
