“The cottage was perfect for a week away.”

Very clean and nicely appointed (AEG appliances in the kitchen for instance). The headroom on the first floor might be an issue for some - you will bump your head on the sloping ceiling but I’m 6’4” and managed ok. The location is excellent - a short walk to the harbour, shops and eateries at Charlestown but more importantly it’s centrally positioned for other towns and attractions. Padstow is 30 mins away, Fowey 20 mins and St Ives/Penzance are an easy day trip at about an hours ...

Padstow is 30 mins away, Fowey 20 mins and St Ives/Penzance are an easy day trip at about an hours drive (and well worth making the journey). The Lost Gardens of Heligan are close by and should be on your list if you like that sort of thing. Overall an excellent choice.
