Visit the next-door village of St Neot and stop in the pretty whitewashed London Inn for lunch, before exploring the fascinating Carnglaze Caverns.
Head further into Bodmin Moor to Colliford Lake where you can take a dip on a hot summer day, followed by lunch and museum visit at the famous Jamaica Inn.
Travel west to the town of Bodmin to visit 15th Century St Petroc’s Church and take a guided tour around the infamous Bodmin Jail; then head to the stunning Lanhydrock House & Gardens.
The Eden Project, with its attractions for all age groups, is a nearby must-visit; and for wine-lovers, don’t miss the chance for a tour of the award-winning Camel Valley Vineyard.
Continue on from there to Padstow, for dinner in one of the many excellent restaurants.
